Ivanka Trump Says She's 'Complicit' in a 'Force for Good' in Her Role in the White House

Ivanka Trump is opening up about her involvement inside the White House with father President Donald Trump.

The 35-year-old businesswoman – who was recently named assistant to the president – gave an extremely vague answer when asked if she is “complicit” in her father’s administration, and spun the question into implying that she is a positive force to her father.

“If being complicit is wanting to be a force for good and to make a positive impact then I’m complicit,” Ivanka said in an interview on CBS. “I don’t know that the critics who may say that of me, if they found themselves in this very unique and unprecedented situation that I am now in, would do any differently than I am doing.”

In a recent sketch on SNL, Scarlett Johansson mocked Ivanka‘s involvement in President Trump‘s administration with a commercial for her faux “Complicit” perfume.

“I don’t know that the critics who may say that of me, if they found themselves in this very unique and unprecedented situation that I am now in, would do any differently than I am doing,” Ivanka said in the interview set to air on Wednesday. “So I hope to make a positive impact. I don’t know what it means to be complicit, but you know, I hope time will prove that I have done a good job and much more importantly that my father’s administration is the success that I know it will be.”
