Blake Lively Gives Emotional Speech About Child Pornography (Video) - Watch Now!

Blake Lively delivered a heartfelt speech at Variety’s Power of Women event on Friday (April 21) in New York City.

The 29-year-old actress and mother opened up about one of her biggest passions: eliminating child pornography.

“I would do anything to protect them, I would literally die for them without a moment’s thought,” Blake said about her daughters, James, 2, and Ines, 6 months. “For those of you who have children, I think you know what I’m talking about. I mean if you think of what you would do for you child, I don’t think there’s anything you wouldn’t ask yourself.”

“I didn’t really know what child pornography was, I was afraid to ask, as a mother, because it would be painful to hear,” she went on. “But I felt like I had to ask, and I feel like I have to share it with you guys now. It is disturbing, and I want to warn you, but I feel like it’s my responsibility to tell you guys because it is the truth, and I believe if we all knew this, we would dedicate much more of ourselves to stopping it.”
