Ariel Winter Says Her Confidence Comes From Support of 'Modern Family' Cast

The Modern Family actress recently opened up to to ET about how being on the hit ABC show inspired her body confidence.

“The show helped me a lot,” Ariel shared. “I was surrounded by so many great people that were really supportive of me and really, you know, wanted me to thrive.”

She continues, “[They] told me all the time that they believed in me and thought I should be confident and all those things.”

Ariel adds that criticism is just around every corner, too: “We were criticized a lot. And I was criticized especially being the youngest girl out of the cast. And it was definitely hard.”
