Tom Cruise Confirms a 'Top Gun' Sequel Is in the Works!

Tom Cruise just confirmed that a sequel to his hit movie Top Gun is in the works!

The 54-year-old actor, whose new movie The Mummy hits theaters next month, revealed the news during an interview with Australia’s Sunrise.

“It’s true, yeah it’s true,” Tom said. “You know what? I’m going to start filming it probably in the next year. I know, it’s happening, it is definitely happening.”

“You’re the first people that I’ve really said it [to],” Tom added. “This is going to happen.”

No other details have been revealed just yet, but fans are surely going to start speculating immediately.
