Rob Lowe Sends Video to Fan Battling Cancer: 'All My Love'

Rob Lowe made a dying fan’s wish come true after he sent her a heartfelt video message.

The 53-year-old actor surprised Alex Charpentier, 48, with the video after learning that she has been battling stage four lung cancer for over a year, People reports.

According to the outlet, Alex is a single mother, nonsmoker, and marathon runner who watched the video from her hospice bed in Austin, Texas.

One of Alex‘s biggest dreams was to meet Rob and let him know how big of a fan she is.

Her best friend Chris Carter said Alex‘s love for Rob became “less of a teen crush and more of everything he stood for. … It’s been a thing for more than three decades. She’s one of my very best friends, so I set out to make it happen. I wrote an email from the heart about her and what she was fighting.”

Rob took notice and responded on Tuesday (July 25).
