'Roseanne' Reboot in the Works? ABC Eyeing Sara Gilbert's Darlene as New Focus!

ABC is reportedly in talks to bring back Roseanne as a reboot with the focus centered around the character of Darlene, played by Sara Gilbert.

TMZ is reporting that ABC is considering “re-branding the show” after Roseanne Barr sent out a racist tweet causing the show to get canceled.

One focus ABC currently has is to “desperately [try[ to salvage the jobs of those who were affected” by the cancellation.

So far, no official word.

You may remember, Sara was one of the first cast members from the Roseanne reboot to react to Roseanne‘s racist tweet.
