Felicity Huffman Released on $250,000 Bail, Surrenders Passport

Felicity Huffman has been released from custody after her arrest for an alleged role in a college bribery scandal.

The 56-year-old Oscar-nominated actress is being released on a $250,000 bond following a hearing at a Los Angeles federal courthouse, where the charges against her were read, according to Deadline.

Felicity‘s husband William H. Macy, who was not charged, was present in the courtroom.

On Tuesday morning, Felicity was arrested at her home by seven federal FBI agents who reportedly showed up with their guns drawn. She is facing charges of “conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.”
