Taylor Swift Opens the VMAs 2019, Sings 'Lover' Live! (Video)
Taylor Swift slays the stage for her performance at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday (August 26) at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
The 29-year-old singer opened the show by performing her single “You Need to Calm Down” and she basically recreated the music video with Todrick Hall and Dexter Mayfield by her side.
Taylor then slowed things down for the first live television performance of her song “Lover,” the title track on her new album.
The album was released just a few days ago and it is already the top-selling album of 2019.
FYI: Taylor is wearing a custom Versace look, Christian Louboutin booties, Versace bracelets, necklaces, and rings, Kallati earrings, and rings by Brumani and Misahara.
