BTS Postpones North American Tour Due to Current Health Crisis

BTS is postponing their Map of the Soul North American tour dates.

The seven-member South Korean boy band made the decision amid the ongoing health crisis.

They previously announced that they had canceled their four April dates in Korea.

The tour would have then kicked off on April 25 and 26 in Santa Clara, Calif.

However, according to a translation of a statement from Big Hit Entertainment (below), “in order to make sure that we put the safely of everyone involved first and foremost … We are closely monitoring and following the guidance of all local governments regarding public events to ensure we are providing a safe environment for everyone involved as we continue to update our tour plans. We will share additional information regarding these new concert dates shortly.”

Tickets will be honored for the new dates.
