A source is speaking out about what Kelly ClarksonClarkson wants for her children after filing for divorce from Brandon Blackstock.

The couple share kids River Rose, 6, and Remington Alexander, 4.

“She had to work through a lot of hurt from her childhood,” a source told People. “Her priority is making sure her children grow up in a stable, loving environment.”

Kelly also wants to remain close to Brandon‘s children, Savannah, 18, and Seth, 13, from a previous marriage.
