Demi Lovato Wants to Adopt, Doesn't Think She'll Ever Get Pregnant

Demi Lovato is opening up about her desire to have kids in the future, how she thought she’d already be a mom by now, and why she doesn’t see herself ever getting pregnant.

The 28-year-old singer discussed motherhood in a new episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

When Demi was asked if she wants to have kids of her own, she said, “I used to. I think if anything, I want to adopt, more than anything.”

Demi continued by bringing up her broken engagement to Max Ehrich, which she called off last year.

“I don’t know, I was engaged to a man last year,” Demi said. “I totally thought that I’d be married, maybe pregnant, by now. And that’s not the case … I know that my life is not going according to my plan.”

Demi added, “Life doesn’t go according to any plan. So, I could sit here and say, ‘Yes, I would love to have children.’ But I don’t know, because that might change next week. I think in this moment, I want to adopt, for sure.”
