When she stopped to do an interview on the red carpet, she was asked who she was rooting for during the evening’s ceremony.
Here’s what she said…
One name that came to mind specifically was her Black Panther co-star, Chadwick Boseman.
“This is Hollywood’s Christmas, so I’m rooting for everyone…it’s great. I guess especially because he’s near and dear and means so much, my dear son, Chadwick Boseman,” she answered.
“I miss his great big spirit. His heart. He cared so much for people, the ultimate professional, and he had the most amazing laugh. Amazing and easy.”
Chadwick Boseman has a posthumous nomination at the ceremony. Find out who else is nominated.
FYI: Angela is wearing an Alberta Ferretti gown, Judith Leiber bag, Christian Louboutin shoes and Chopard jewelry.
