Leonardo DiCaprio Is Already Remaking One of Last Night's Oscar-Winning Movies

A remake of one of this year’s Oscar-winning movies is already in the works and Leonardo DiCaprio is attached to star in it.

The 46-year-old actor is a seven-time Oscar nominee and he won the award for Best Actor back in 2016 with his movie The Revenant. It sounds like this project might give Leo another chance at Oscar gold.

Leo‘s production company Appian Way has won the rights to remake the foreign language film Another Round, which just won the Academy Award for Best International Film.

The movie, which is currently streaming on Hulu, stars Mads Mikkelsen as a vulnerable middle-aged man in existential crisis. Deadline reports that the English-language adaptation is being developed as a potential star vehicle for Leo.

Another Round involves “four teacher pals in midlife crisis who decide to experiment with raising their blood alcohol levels as a way to make life more interesting. While they initially are exacting about their levels, things progressively get out of hand for some of them.”
