Nick Carter & Wife Lauren Reveal Name of One-Month-Old Daughter

Nick Carter has finally announced the name of his baby girl!

The 41-year-old Backstreet Boys singer and his wife Lauren welcomed their third child, a baby girl, back on April 21, but haven’t revealed their daughter’s name until now.

Nick and his 37-year-old wife, who have married since 2014, named their baby girl Pearl. The couple are also parents to son Odin, 4, and daughter Saoirse, 19 months.

“Funny enough, that was the name Lauren wanted to give to [our eldest daughter], Saoirse,” Nick shared with Us Weekly. “Essentially, we kind of gave up on the name, but Lauren really liked Pearl. Then we discovered that we were going to have another baby. That’s when I was like, ‘Listen, let’s go with what you wanted.’ So she became Pearl.”

Lauren jokingly added that they wanted Pearl to have a single-syllable name because “we needed something easier to say than Saoirse.”
