Kate Hudson went to see Lea Michele in Funny Girl last week and Glee fans totally understand how meta this is!
If you didn’t know, Kate was a recurring guest star in season four of Glee and she played a dance teacher at New York Academy of Dramatic Arts, where Lea‘s character Rachel went to college.
Throughout the season, Kate‘s character Cassandra July was constantly picking on Rachel and telling her that she didn’t have the chops to make it to Broadway. By the end of the season, Rachel had a callback for Funny Girl, but the audition interfered with her final for Cassandra’s class.

Post Malone is opening up about an experience he had while on tour in Australia.
The 27-year-old rapper says that he was denied entry into a bar because of the tattoos on his face.
“They turned me away for my tattoos,” he told The West Australian. “I’ve never really experienced anything like that.”
The venue that turned Post Malone away is now speaking out to apologize.

Tony Stark and Happy Hogan had a reunion when Marvel Cinematic Universe stars Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Favreau got together again.
The 57-year-old Iron Man actor attended the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony where Jon, 56, received his star on Monday (February 13) in Hollywood, Calif.
Robert and Jon worked together on the MCU series for the first time in 2008′s Iron Man. After that, Jon played his character Happy – Iron Man’s bodyguard and friend – in six more movies. After Robert‘s character died in the film franchise, he carried on as a close friend of Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man.
Jon also shared the screen with Robert in 2014′s Chef, which he also directed, wrote and produced.
While he’s a fan-favorite in the MCU, Jon has been equally successful behind the camera. He’s the showrunner and executive producer of The Mandalorian, which expanded on the Star Wars franchise. He’s also taking over executive production duties for Ahsoka and Skelton Crew.

Lea Michele is currently bringing the house down every night with her starring role in the Broadway musical Funny Girl, fulfilling a longtime dream of hers to play the iconic role.
The 36-year-old actress is also fulfilling a storyline that happened on Glee when her character Rachel Berry starred in the first-ever Broadway revival of Funny Girl after idolizing Barbra Streisand while growing up, just as Lea herself did.
Some of Lea‘s Glee castmates have already rushed to see her in the musical during the first two months of her run, while some other former co-stars have publicly voiced that they will not be attending the show.
Lea is currently expected to star in the musical through May 2023, though her final performance date has not yet been announced.

Jodie Comer won rave reviews for her performance in the West End play Prima Facie last year and she just received a major award ahead of the show’s Broadway run!
The 29-year-old actress accepted the award for Best Performer in a Play at the 2023 WhatsOnStage Awards on Sunday (February 12) at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London, England.
Prima Facie also won the award for Best New Play.
If you missed the play in London, you’ll have another chance to see it when it premieres on Broadway on April 11. The limited run will end on June 18.
Here is the play’s synopsis: “Tessa is a thoroughbred. A young, brilliant barrister who loves to win. She has worked her way up from working class origins to be at the top of her game; defending; cross examining and lighting up the shadows of doubt in any case. An unexpected event forces her to confront the lines where the patriarchal power of the law, burden of proof and morals diverge.”
