On the same day, Gaga was seen speaking about her recent album ARTPOP and comparisons between her and Katy Perry at the Hilton.

“I don’t know what the f–k-all I have to do with Katy Perry. Our music is so completely different. I couldn’t be more different, really. Shailene Woodley and Theo James hit the stage at the 2014 mtvU Woodie Awards and Festival held during the SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival on Thursday (March 13) in Austin, Tex.

The Divergent co-stars presented a brand new clip from their highly anticipated movie, which hits theaters next weekend.

The mtvU Woodie Awards recognizes acts to the next level of their careers – including surging record sales, headlining tours and mainstream acclaim and will air on MTV and mtvU on Sunday, March 16th at 8/7c.

Lady Gaga is covered with vomit while performing a special concert on the Doritos #BoldStage during the 2014 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival on Thursday evening (March 13) in Austin, Tex.

The 27-year-old singer performed the concert to celebrate her Born This Way Foundation and fans only could earn entry by proving their boldness by completing a Doritos Bold Mission.

While she performed her song “Swine,” Gaga had a woman push her finger down her throat and barf a green substance all over her. Watch in the video below!

Chris Martin arrives at LAX Airport and greets some fans on Wednesday (March 13) in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old Coldplay singer performed at the 2014 SXSW Festival a few days before in Austin, Tex!

The band played to so many screaming fans, at one point, Chris said to crowd (via Yahoo), “We’ve been in the studio a long, long time, and we’ve forgotten how much people like to sing along!”

The band debuted many new songs live from their upcoming album Ghost Stories, including “Always In My Head,” “Magic,” “Midnight,” and “Another’s Arms.”

Jay Z and Kanye West take the stage together to perform some of their greatest solos and duets at the Samsung Galaxy presents 2014 SXSW Festival on Wednesday (March 12) in Austin, Tex.

The duo performed a number of songs including “Otis,” “Gotta Have It,” “No Church in the Wild,” and “… in Paris.”

The show was packed – and it was considered one of the most highly anticipated of the festival. Also in attendance were Russell Simmons, rapper Theophilus London, Bravo’s Andy Cohen, and actor Balthazar Getty.

Tragedy has struck the 2014 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival and two people are dead following a fatal car crash that took place on early Thursday morning (March 13) in Austin, Tex.

Police say that a car drove through temporary barricades that were set up for the festival and struck a crowd of pedestrians around 12:30am. Two people were confirmed dead at the scene and 21 others were taken to various hospitals in the area, most with just minor injuries. Around five to seven of them had more serious injuries.

“This is extremely unusual,” Lt. Moon of the Austin Police Dept. told Rolling Stone. “There have been some very rare instances of vehicles striking pedestrians in the entertainment area, but this is the first time it’s ever affected a SXSW event.”

The driver has been taken into custody and is being investigated for driving under the influence.

The victims were in line waiting for a Tyler, the Creator show, which was canceled in light of the accident. “Show Isnt Happening, Something Sad Happened. I’m Bummed,” he tweeted after the news broke.

Lena Dunham is fun and flirty as she strikes a pose while attending her Keynote during the 2014 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival held at the Austin Convention Center on Monday (March 10) in Austin, Tex.

The 27-year-old actress hit the stage to talk about her upbringing, her hit show Girls, and addressed the differences in opportunities for male and female actors in Hollywood.

“Something has to change and I’m trying,” Lena expressed (via Variety). “People are ready to see Adam Driver play a million different guys in one year – from lotharios to villains to nerds. Meanwhile [co-stars] Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet are still waiting for parts they can get interested in.”
