We’re getting our first look at Francis Ford Coppola‘s highly-anticipated new movie!

On Saturday (May 4), the 85-year-old Oscar-winning director debuted the first teaser trailer for his next movie Megalopolis starring Adam Driver.

In the teaser, Adam, 40, makes his way out of a window at the top of a skyscraper and slowly inches towards the edge of the building. He then bends down to look at the street below and yells “Time stop!” and the world freezes.

Adam then leans back and regains his footing before snapping time to start moving again.

Along with sharing the teaser on Instagram, Francis paid tribute to his late wife Eleanor, who died on April 12, 2024.

Adam Driver is teasing Megalopolis!

The upcoming sci-fi movie directed by Francis Ford Coppola counts Adam, Aubrey Plaza, Giancarlo Esposito, Dustin Hoffman, Nathalie Emmanuel, Shia LaBeouf, Jason Schwartzman, and more in its star-studded cast.

At this time, plot details are scarce despite the fact that Megalopolis is scheduled to release in 2024.

The acclaimed revival of An Enemy of the People had a star-studded audience on opening night!

Jeremy Strong, Michael Imperioli, and Victoria Pedretti lead the the new Broadway production of the classic play, which opened on Monday night (March 18) at the Circle in the Square Theatre in New York City.

Stepping out to catch the performance were Rachel McAdams, Adam Driver, Kit Connor, Dan Stevens, Marisa Tomei, F. Murray Abraham, Micaela Diamond, Lisa Ann Walter, Tobias Menzies, Succession‘s Juliana Canfield, and longtime couple Rebecca Hall and Morgan Spector.

In An Enemy of the People, a small-town doctor (Strong) considers himself a proud, upstanding member of his close-knit community. When he discovers a catastrophe that risks the lives of everyone in town, he raises the alarm. But he is shaken to his core when those in power, including his own brother (Imperioli), not only try to silence him—they try to destroy him.

Adam Driver is tired of defending his recent roles.

In the last two years, the 40-year-old Oscar-nominated actor has played two famous Italian figures – first playing Maurizio Gucci in 2021′s House of Gucci then playing Enzo Ferrari in 2023′s Ferrari.

While speaking with Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes on their Smartless podcast, Adam hit back at constantly being asked if the roles should have gone to real Italian actors.

If you forgot, the 40-year-old Ferrari actor played the child of iconic characters Princess Leia and Han Solo and was seduced to the Dark Side of the Force. His first appearance was in 2015′s The Force Awakens, and he last played the role in 2019′s The Rise of Skywalker.

Adam Driver opened up about his experiences as a parent after we learned he and wife Joanne Tucker welcomed a baby girl in secret earlier this year.

The 40-year-old Ferrari actor casually revealed that he and his wife had welcomed a second child during a Saturday Night Live dress rehearsal. They already share a son, who was born in 2016.

During an appearance on Live with Kelly & Mark, Adam spilled about his growing family. He revealed exactly how old his daughter was and joked around about how babies “kinda sucked.”

He even revealed how his second experience with fatherhood was different from the first.
