There were SO many amazing performances this year at the 2015 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 8) in Los Angeles.

Some of the highlights definitely were Beyonce‘s tribute to the movie Selma alongside John Legend and Common to close the show, Katy Perry‘s last performance of a song from her nominated album Prism, Kanye West‘s return to the Grammys stage after six years, Kristen Wiig dancing for Sia‘s performance, and Madonna‘s debut of her new single.

John Legend plays the piano while Common takes center stage during a performance at the 2015 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 8) in Los Angeles.

The 36-year-old singer and the 42-year-old rapper were joined by a choir during their live rendition of “Glory” — a song from Common‘s movie Selma.

“Me and @johnlegend about to hit the stage!” Common tweeted during the show.

In case you didn’t know, “Glory” was awarded Best Original Song at the Golden Globes.

Beyonce looks like an angel in her white outfit while performing at the 2015 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 8) in Los Angeles.

The 33-year-old singer helped close the show in a performance that paid tribute to the Oscar-nominated movie Selma.

Beyonce was introduced to the stage by her good friend Gwyneth Paltrow and she sang the song “Take My Hand, Precious Lord,” a gospel song that was a favorite of the late Martin Luther King Jr.

Jane Lynch gets all dressed up to attend the 2015 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 8) in Los Angeles.

The 54-year-old Glee actress was joined at the big bash by actress Jane Fonda who showed she still had it in a green jumpsuit.

“#TheGrammys @AnnieLennox is everything,” Jane tweeted during the show.

The night before, Jane L rocked an all-black ensemble while attending the 2015 Directors Guild of America Awards.

Since Beck won the Album of the Year award at the 2015 Grammys, the phrase “Who Is Beck” began trending across Twitter.

Beck, aka Beck Hansen or Beck David Campbell, a 44-year-old musician, had some stiff competition for the prize. He was up against Beyonce, Pharrell Williams, Ed Sheeran, and Sam Smith.

- Most importantly – Beck is an accomplished musician who has released a ton of albums! - He’s also had 40 singles from his numerous studio albums.

- Beck has also won 6 MTV Video Music Awards throughout his lengthy career.

Taylor Swift and Kanye West meet up for a photo during a commercial break at the 2015 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 8) in Los Angeles.

The two stars got into a bit of a clash back in 2009 after Kanye stormed the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards and interrupted her acceptance speech to tell the audience he thought Beyonce should have won the award.

Kanye jokingly did the same thing at the Grammys tonight when Beck won the Album of the Year award over Beyonce. He went up the stairs, but then smiled and went back to his seat.

Taylor wrote a song called “Innocent” about the moment, but it seems all is well between the two stars now.

Lady Gaga is glamorous in a form-fitting black dress in the press room at the 2015 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 8) in Los Angeles.

Earlier in the night, the 28-year-old entertainer and her close friend Tony Bennett performed their song “Cheek to Cheek,” off their latest duets album of the same name.

Gaga and Tony took home the award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for their collaboration, beating out Annie Lennox, Barry Manilow, Barbra Streisand, and Johnny Mathis.
