Danielle Fishel Addresses 'Boy Meets World' Cast Friendships After Ben Savage Allegedly Ghosted the Cast

Danielle Fishel‘s comments are making some headlines.

The 42-year-old actress, who played Topanga in Boy Meets World, met up with most of her co-stars for 90s Con in Tampa over the weekend, where the cast spoke about their friendships.

One member of the cast who wasn’t there was Ben Savage, who played Cory on the Disney Channel series.

Cast members have alleged that Ben “ghosted” them three years ago, with several co-stars saying he “just kind of disappeared from our lives” in a conversation with Variety earlier this year.

3 'Boy Meets World' Stars Weigh In On Ben Savage's Political Ambitions (& 1 Says They Disagreed With Him on Almost All Major Issues as Teens)

Several of Ben Savage‘s Boy Meets World co-stars weighed in on his political ambitions.

The 42-year-old actor, who starred as Cory Matthews in the popular sitcom, announced plans to run for a seat in the United States House of Representatives where he would be representing California.

After keeping quiet about the plans, Ben‘s former co-stars Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong and Will Friedle weighed in on his decisions during an episode of their podcast Pod Meets World.

“We’ve been tagged in things, we’ve been asked, and we were contemplating what we were going to say, if we were going to say anything,” Danielle explained in the new episode, which went up in April and recapped an episode of the show where Ben‘s character ran to be class president. “And then we rolled into this episode we’re recapping.”

In the process, all three of them revealed their thoughts on Ben‘s actual political ambitions.

Three months later, the trio made some big claims about their relationship with Ben, and we decided to revisit what they thought about him running for office.

Boy Meets World stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have reunited to star in Panera Bread’s new “Forever Flatbreads” commercial.

In the commercial directed by Ben‘s brother Fred Savage, the longtime friends and former co-stars re-create some of the most iconic romantic comedies including Love Actually, When Harry Met Sally, Sixteen Candles, and Jerry Maguire.

It’s all love for Ben and Danielle until Ben goes to take the last slice of pizza, and Danielle is not happy about it.

“I didn’t think you’d want it!” Ben yells before Danielle storms off while channeling The Break-Up with, “I wanted you to want me to want it!”

Ben opened up about reuniting with Danielle for Panera’s new commercial in an interview with People.

“Having Fred be there, and Danielle, who I grew up with … it was such a fun experience because it really is like being with family, Ben shared. “And you don’t really get those opportunities often, in this business, to work with people you’ve grown up with.”
