Catherine Zeta-Jones has checked herself into a treatment center to help her deal with bipolar disorder on Monday (April 29).

The 43-year-old actress is scheduled to complete a 30-day program, according to TMZ.

In 2011, Catherine completed a stint at a treatment center for bipolar disorder.

Catherine and her husband Michael Douglas were publicly spotted last week at the 2013 Chaplin Award Gala in the Big Apple.

FYI: Bipolar Disorder is a “mood disorder, where individuals experience episodes of a frenzied state known as mania (or hypomania), typically alternating with episodes of depression.”

The 43-year-old Welsh actress was seen posing for pics with her husband Michael Douglas and famed director Paul Haggis at the event, which honored Barbra Streisand.

The night before, the 43-year-old actress and the 68-year-old actor were spotted attending a showing of the hit musical Newsies.

At the end of the show, Catherine and Michael went backstage to meet the cast, taking photos with leads Corey Cott and Kara Lindsay.

Newsies is a musical centering on “the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teen aged “newsies,” who dreams only of a better life far from the hardship of the streets.”

Renee Zellweger and Queen Latifah hit the red carpet at the 2013 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 24) in Hollywood.

During the show, the ladies joined their Chicago co-stars Richard Gere and Catherine Zeta-Jones to present the awards for Best Original Score to Life of Pi and Best Original Song to Adele for “Skyfall”.

The 43-year-old actress sang the song “All That Jazz” from her movie Chicago, which won her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress a decade ago.
