There was another tie at the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards!

Lady Gaga and Glenn Close both won Best Actress at the event on Sunday (January 13) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

Gaga won the award for her work in A Star Is Born while Glenn picked up the win for The Wife. It was the second tie win of the night.

“Glenn, get over here,” Gaga said to her fellow winner while accepting the award. “My mother and Glenn are good friends so I’m so very happy that you won this, this evening.”

The cast of Crazy Rich Asians appears on stage to accept the award for Best Comedy at the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday (January 13) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The film beat out Deadpool 2, The Death of Stalin, The Favourite, Game Night, and Sorry to Bother You to win the award.

Stepping out for the event were Constance Wu, Gemma Chan, Awkwafina, Nico Santos (also a nominee for his work on Superstore), Ken Jeong, Harry Shum Jr., and director Jon M. Chu. Producer Nina Jacobson accepted the award.

Though it did not win the awards, the movie was also nominated for Best Acting Ensemble, Best Actress in a Comedy for Constance, and Best Production Design.

Both Olivia and America took to the stage to present a award.

The actresses tied in the Best Actress in a Movie/Limited Series category, Amy for Sharp Objects and Patricia for Escape at Dannemora.

Amy was called on stage first and she asked for the next winner to be announced before she gave her acceptance speech. They then accepted the award together!

Patricia was joined at the event by her co-star Eric Lange (also nominated) and the show’s director Ben Stiller.

“why oh why god did I agree to the people or critics choice whatever it is the night after John’s party this was a big mistake huge yes this is a fancy problem,” Chrissy wrote on her Twitter.

The 30-year-old actress was one of the presenters at tonight’s show, along with Roswell, New Mexico star Jeanine Mason.

Together, the two actresses presented Elsie Fisher with the Best Young Actor award at the show.
