Samuel L. Jackson & Dominique Fishback Hit The Premiere of 'Last Days of Ptolemy Grey' in LA

Samuel L. Jackson meets up with Dominique Fishback on the red carpet at the premiere of their new series, The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, held at The Bruin in Los Angeles on Monday night (March 7).

The two actors were joined by many of their co-stars including Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, Damon Gupton, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Omar Miller, DeRon Horton, Percy Daggs IV, and director Debbie Allen.

Other guests at the limited series premiere include Marvin ‘Krondon’ Jones III, Charity Jordan, Monique Coleman, Katherine McNamara, Don Cheadle, Tamberla Perry, Magic Johnson, Cookie Johnson, and Christine Horn.

The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey is based on the novel by bestselling author Walter Mosley, and centers on the title character, an ailing man forgotten by his family, by his friends, and by even himself.

Suddenly left without his trusted caretaker and on the brink of sinking even deeper into a lonely dementia, Ptolemy is assigned to the care of orphaned teenager Robyn. When they learn about a treatment that can temporarily restore Ptolemy’s dementia-addled memories, it begins a journey toward shocking truths about the past, present and future.

The limited series is set to debut on Apple TV+ on Friday, March 11.

'Babylon' Movie Adds Katherine Waterston, Max Minghella, Samara Weaving & 6 Others

The cast of Damien Chazelle’s Babylon movie is filling out.

Deadline just revealed nine new stars that have joined the pic including Katherine Waterston, Max Minghella, and Samara Weaving.

The site also revealed that Flea, Rory Scovel, Lukas Haas, Eric Roberts, P.J. Byrne and Damon Gupton will also appear in the film opposite Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, Diego Calva, Jovan Adepo, and Li Jun Li.

Almost all the roles and details of the plot are being kept under wraps at this point in time, however it’s reported that Babylon will be an R-rated drama set in the shifting moment in Hollywood when the industry turned from silent film to talkies.

Damien will be directing and writing the script, with Olivia Hamilton, Matt Plouffe, and Marc Platt producing. Tobey Maguire, Helen Estabrook and Adam Siegel are all executive producers on the movie.

Babylon is currently set for a January 2022 release date.

Margot actually replaced this other actress in the movie.

Damon Gupton Joins 'Criminal Minds' as Series Regular After Thomas Gibson's Firing

CBS has announced it has added Damon Gupton as the newest series regular on the hit show Criminal Minds.

The 43-year-old actor will make his debut during the eighth episode of the current season 12.

Damon will portray Special Agent Stephen Walker, who will help the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) track down spies.

“Our BAU family is growing,” executive producer Erica Messer said in a statement. “We’re excited to have Damon join the show and work alongside our amazing cast and crew.”

Damon‘s new role comes after previous cast member Thomas Gibson was fired for allegedly kicking writer-producer Virgil Williams.

Jaimie Alexander & Sullivan Stapleton's 'Blindspot' Has Enough Tattoos to Last 10 Seasons

Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton speak to the press while attending the NBC portion of the 2015 Summer TCA Tour on Thursday (August 13) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The two actors star in the new series Blindspot and the showrunner Martin Gero said that Jaimie‘s character is covered with enough tattoos to provide mysteries for ten seasons.

“Yes, she has enough tattoos for nine or 10 years… Her legs are just for the spinoff,” he said.

Marin Ireland & Tony Goldwyn Premiere 'The Divide' in NYC Before Its July 16 Debut!

Marin Ireland flashes a big smile as she attends the series premiere of her new show The Divide held at the Dolby 88 Theater on Thursday (June 26) in New York City.

The actress was joined by creator and director Tony Goldwyn, and her co-stars Nia Long, Damon Gupton, Britne Oldford, John Bedford Lloyd, Clarke Peters, and co-creator Richard LaGravenese.

The Divide is WE tv’s first scripted series, which takes on the exploration of personal morality and how all people – especially ambitious people – struggle with the shades of gray found in the absence of a simple, ordered moral universe.
