Robert De Niro & Michelle Pfeiffer Premiere 'Wizard of Lies' in NYC

Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert De Niro couple up for the premiere of their upcoming HBO film Wizard of Lies on Thursday night (May 11) at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

The co-stars were joined at the event by their co-stars Kristen Connolly, Alessandro Nivola, and Hank Azaria along with Michelle‘s husband David Kelley, actress Jennifer Morrison, and Harry Connick Jr with his wife Jill Goodacre and daughter Sarah Connick.

The film “examines Bernie Madoff‘s Ponzi scheme — his deception, lies and cover-up, all as the financier’s wife and sons are catapulted into a harsh and unrelenting spotlight.

Wizard of Lies
premieres on Sunday, May 20 on HBO.

FYI: Michelle is wearing a Monse suit, Prada shoes, and Fred Leighton jewelry while carrying a Leiber bag. Kristen is wearing Tadashi Shoji and carrying a Rubeus Milano clutch.

Adrianne Palicki: Wonder Woman for NBC Pilot!

Adrianne Palicki has been cast in the highly coveted title role for NBC’s pilot Wonder Woman, according to Variety.

The 27-year-old actress is best known for her role as Tyra Collette on the first three seasons of Friday Night Lights.

Adrianne was also in the critically acclaimed series Lone Star, which was canceled after just two episodes.

The pilot will be executive produced by David E. Kelley, who is currently running the hit series Harry’s Law, starring Kathy Bates and Brittany Snow.

Wonder Woman is flying back to the small screen!

A modern-day version of the classic DC comic book superhero will be featured in an upcoming TV show, according to reports.

Showrunner David E. Kelley, who most notably worked on Ally McBeal, The Practice, and Boston Legal has been tapped to write and produce the new series, reports Deadline.
