Jordana Brewster, Amber Heard, Ashley Madekwe, and Sophia Bush pose for a photo with gun control activist Shannon Watts at the launch of her book “Fight Like a Mother” on Monday (June 10) at a private home in Brentwood, Calif.

The stars all stepped out to support the Moms Demand Action founder and volunteer at the home of fashion designer Mary Alice Haney Davidoff.

Shannon talked with THR at the event about the recent successes of Moms Demand Action.

“Bills were just sailing through state houses that were just so dangerous and so insidious that the gun lobby had been writing for years and we now have a 90 percent track record of killing those bills every year. We killed over 1,000 last year. Guns on college campuses, arming teachers, permitless carry, stand your ground,” she said.

Kevin Hart had so much support at the premiere of The Secret Life of Pets 2!

The 39-year-old actor, wife Eniko Parrish, and kids Heaven, 14, Hendrix, 11, and Kenzo, 1 sported coordinating white and mint-green outfits for the premiere on Sunday afternoon (June 2) at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, Calif.

Also joining Kevin were his co-stars Tiffany Haddish, Harrison Ford, Eric Stonestreet, Lake Bell, Nick Kroll, Hannibal Buress, along with Patton Oswalt and wife Meredith Salenger.

The Black Summer actress teamed up with Rainbow Light and Vitamin Angels to give back.

Jaime recently opened up about her parenting style and why she doesn’t believe in a rulebook for being a parent.

“There aren’t rules and I think it’s BS to try and tell people that there are rules,” Jaime told ET. “Being a parent is the most electrifying, beautiful, glorious, terrifying… it’s like someone takes your heart and puts it in another body and your heart is walking around with them. There’s all of these theories and ideas and rules and regulations and I call BS. Bottom line, I say take care of yourself so you can take care of others, love yourself and love others, and don’t hurt yourself and don’t hurt others.”
