Jared Padalecki hits up the Supernatural panel with co-star Jensen Ackles at Comic-Con 2010 held at California’s San Diego Convention Center on Sunday (July 25).

New showrunner Sera Gamble commented on Jensen‘s directorial debut. She shared, “He was like a seasoned director at the first meeting.” Jensen said that he approached directing based on advice from exec producer Kim Manners. (He directed fourth episode “Weekend at Bobby’s”.)

Fans yelled for Jensen to take his shirt off, so Jared looks under the table and says, “His pants are off?”

The night before, Jensen and wife Danneel Harris attended the EW and SyFy party at Hotel Solamar.

Jensen Ackles comes out to support his newly wedded wife Danneel Harris at the Gersh Agency’s 2010 UpFronts and Broadway season cocktail celebration at New York City’s Juliet Supper Club on Tuesday (May 18).

Danneel is set to star in the new half-hour comedy series on NBC called Friends with Benefits, which revolves around a group of twenty-something singles as they navigate the difficult, and often confusing, world of dating. Jessica Lucas, Ryan Hansen, Fran Kranz and Ian Reed Kesler also star.

Friends with Benefits revolves around a group of twenty-something singles as they navigate the difficult, and often confusing, world of dating. Ben Weymouth (Ryan Hansen) is on the hunt for the perfect woman who meets his unique set of standards, while his best friend, Sara Maxwell (Danneel), is just looking for a man to settle down with and raise a family. Ben and Sara have fallen into the habit of turning to each other for moral and physical support as they wait for Mr. and Ms. Right to arrive. Their friend Aaron (Fran Kranz), a romantic at heart, doesn’t approve of Ben and Sara’s complicated friendship, but he, along with womanizer Hoon (Ian Reed Kesler) and straight shooter Riley (Jessica Lucas), are all distracted with their own dating trials and tribulations.

The newlyweds tied the knot on Saturday (May 15) in Jensen’s hometown of Dallas, Texas. (First wedding pictures here!) Looks like this couple didn’t get a chance to take time off for a honeymoon!

Jensen, 32, and Danneel, 31, are in town for the upfronts. Danneel stars in the upcoming NBC series Friends with Benefits.
