'The Boys' Spinoff Series Officially Ordered by Amazon - Check Out the Cast & Synopsis!

We’ve been hearing about the spinoff for The Boys for a while now and the show has finally been ordered to series!

The upcoming series will be a college-set spinoff featuring some young superheroes. Craig Rosenberg, who was previously set to be the showrunner, departed the series due to creative differences with Amazon and Sony Pictures TV.

Now, Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, the showrunners of the Marvel series Agent Carter, will take control of the series.

THR reports that the untitled series is “set at America’s only college exclusively for young-adult superheroes (run by Vought International). It’s described as an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive superheroes as they put their physical, sexual and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. It’s part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys.”

The cast includes Chilling Adventures of Sabrina‘s Jaz Sinclair, Here and Now‘s Lizze Broadway, Unbelievable‘s Shane Paul McGhie, Elena of Avalor‘s Aimee Carrero, Brockmire‘s Reina Hardesty, and Teenage Bounty Hunters‘ Maddie Phillips.
