Gen V actress Lizze Broadway spoke to EW about the new The Boys spinoff, specifically a scene involving fake blood.

In the scene, her character Emma Meyers uses her power to shrink down to the size of a bug and kills a guy from the inside out by crawling through his ear. When she reemerges, she’s covered in blood.

As a result, she consulted Jack, who plays Hughie Campbell, and has plenty of experience shooting bloody scenes.

The newest poster for The Boys spinoff, Gen V was just released!

Here’s what the show is all about: Set in the diabolical world of The Boys, Gen V expands the universe to Godolkin University, the prestigious superhero-only college where students train to be the next generation of heroes—preferably with lucrative endorsements. You know what happens when supes go bad, but not all superheroes start out corrupt.

Beyond the typical college chaos of finding oneself and partying, these kids are facing explosive situations … literally. As the students vie for popularity and good grades, it’s clear that the stakes are much higher when super powers are involved.

When the group of young supes discover that something bigger and sinister is going on at school, they’re put to the test: Will they be the heroes or the villains of their stories?

Chris Evans and Ana de Armas are hitting the red carpet together for their new movie premiere!

The two stars stepped out at AMC Lincoln Square Theater for the first premiere event of Ghosted in New York City on Tuesday (April 18).

Ana and Chris were joined by co-stars Lizze Broadway, Tate Donovan, Mike Moh, Amy Sedaris, as well as director Dexter Fletcher.

Hugh Jackman and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, were also seen at the event to support.

Here’s the summary: Salt-of-the-earth Cole (Evans) falls head over heels for enigmatic Sadie (de Armas) —but then makes the shocking discovery that she’s a secret agent. Before they can decide on a second date, Cole and Sadie are swept away on an international adventure to save the world.

Ghosted will be out on Apple TV+ on Friday, April 21.

We’ve been hearing about the spinoff for The Boys for a while now and the show has finally been ordered to series!

The upcoming series will be a college-set spinoff featuring some young superheroes. Craig Rosenberg, who was previously set to be the showrunner, departed the series due to creative differences with Amazon and Sony Pictures TV.

Now, Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, the showrunners of the Marvel series Agent Carter, will take control of the series.

Amazon has revealed the first two stars of the upcoming The Boys spinoff – Jaz Sinclair and Lizze Broadway!

The spinoff from the original series will be set at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (and run by Vought International), according to Deadline.

It will explore the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities.

Lizze will portray Emma on the show, while Jaz, who you’ll recognize from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, will star as Marie.

“I would say it’s loosely inspired by an element of the comics, which is the G-Men. Part of the G-Men is there’s sort of an educational, college experience,” Eric Kripke told TheWrap about the spinoff recently.

He added that they “just used that as a jumping-off point, kind of similar to ‘The Boys,’ where we sort of take an initial notion and then we are going to run with it in our own weird direction.”
