Some cast members from Gen V have all released a statement on the tragic passing of their co-star Chance Perdomo at the young age of 27.

If you did not see the heartbreaking news, Chance died after a motorcycle accident last week.

'Gen V' Delays Production of Show's Second Season Following Tragic Death of Chance Perdomo

The creators of Gen V are delaying production of the show’s second season following the shocking death of series star Chance Perdomo.

The actor, who played Andre Anderson in the Prime Video series and starred in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, passed away in a motorcycle accident on Saturday (March 30). He was 27.

The show was renewed for a second season in October 2023 after the first season debuted with strong reviews. It is not clear how developed the forthcoming season is.

Great news from Amazon’s Prime Video today: Gen V has been renewed for a second season, Deadline reports!

If you don’t know, the series is set in the same universe as another Prime Video series The Boys. Gen V takes place in a college setting.

The show is not even done with season 1 as episode five is set to release on Friday. The finale is set to air on November 3.

'Gen V' Creators Talk Graphic Exploding Penis Scene & Reveal if Liam's Giant Appendage is Real or CGI

The creators of Prime Video’s Gen V are explaining that “c-cksplosion” and how they approached constructing a giant penis for the superhero sex scene.

In Episode 4 of the The Boys spinoff show, Marie (Jaz Sinclair) blacks out, and when she wakes up, Rufus (Alexander Calvert) is clearly about to assault her.

To protect herself, she uses her powers to swell Rufus’ penis, and, well, it ultimately explodes.

There’s also a sex scene in the first episode where Emma (Lizzie Broadway) shrinks and climbs on the comparatively enormous penis of Liam (Robert Bazzocchi).

Executive producers Eric Kripke and Michele Fazekas shared all the insider information during an interview with Variety.

Gen V actress Lizze Broadway spoke to EW about the new The Boys spinoff, specifically a scene involving fake blood.

In the scene, her character Emma Meyers uses her power to shrink down to the size of a bug and kills a guy from the inside out by crawling through his ear. When she reemerges, she’s covered in blood.

As a result, she consulted Jack, who plays Hughie Campbell, and has plenty of experience shooting bloody scenes.
