Jessica Jones is returning for another season at Netflix!

The Krysten Ritter-led Marvel series will be making a return with a third season, Variety confirmed on Thursday (April 12).

The second season of the series premiered on March 8, and found Jessica learning how she got her powers: the result of a genetic experiment as a child after a car crash that killed her family.

The series also stars Rachael Taylor as Jessica’s best friend Trish Walker, Carrie-Anne Moss as attorney Jeri Hogarth and Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, Jessica’s assistant and neighbor.

Krysten Ritter is joined by co-star Rachael Taylor on the red carpet at The Paley Center’s Jessica Jones season two event on Thursday (March 8) in New York City.

The ladies were joined by co-stars Janet McTeer, Carrie-Anne Moss, J.R. Ramirez, and Eka Darville, and execs Melissa Rosenberg, Jeph Loeb, and Allie Goss.

Krysten recently commented about Jessica possibly appearing in a second season of The Defenders.

“Well, I think Jessica was pretty well received. People were excited to see her again, so that made us happy because Jessica is the next up,” Krysten told Vulture. “Y’know, I had a great time doing The Defenders and honestly, it was such a good experience that I would even do it again. I don’t think we are doing it again. It was never intentioned to do it again, but, you know, if I was given another opportunity, I would.”

The 36-year-old star hit the red carpet at the Jessica Jones Season 2 Premiere on Wednesday night (March 7) at AMC Loews Lincoln Square in New York City.

Carrie-Anne Moss, Kevin Chacon, J.R. Ramirez, Rebecca De Mornay, Rachael Taylor, Eka Darville, Will Traval, Terry Chen, Leah Gibson, Janet McTeer and executive producers Melissa Rosenberg and Raelle Tucke all hit the red carpet at the event.

Season 2 of Jessica Jones hits Netflix on Thursday (March 8) at 3:01 AM EST in honor of International Women’s Day.

Jessica Jones is coming back for more!

Netflix just unveiled the trailer for the second season of the Marvel series on Tuesday (February 20).

The trailer includes flashbacks to the show’s first season, while exploring Jessica’s (Krysten Ritter) path towards her new journey in the upcoming season.

Cast members set to return include Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, as well as new cast members including Janet McTeer and J.R. Ramirez.

The new season premieres on March 8, which is also International Women’s Day.

In the second season, New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.

The cast also includes Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth), Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse) and new cast members Janet McTeer and J.R. Ramirez.

Krysten Ritter embraces the heat on set of her hit Netflix series Jessica Jones.

The 35-year-old actress wore two different looks while filming on Wednesday afternoon (June 28) in downtown Manhattan.

One outfit was a red tank, jean shorts, and orange sneakers. The other was a vintage tee and ripped boyfriend jeans.

Krysten sipped on a green smoothie in between scenes.

In case you don’t watch, Jessica Jones follows a former superhero who decides to reboot her life by becoming a private investigator.

Krysten Ritter keeps it simple but stunning in all black while attending a discussion about her hit Netflix show Jessica Jones held at the New York Institute of Technology on Wednesday (May 18) in New York City.

Earlier in the day, the 34-year-old actress stopped by Today to chat about the show’s second season.

“We leave Jessica in a very confused place,” Krysten said. “Her reason for getting up in the morning was her nemesis…she kills him. Jessica is not a murderer. I think that’s going to come with a lot of emotional baggage.”
