Angelina Jolie has added a powerful woman to her divorce team, Judy Smith!

The character Olivia Pope on the hit ABC series Scandal, played by Kerry Washington, was inspired by the legendary crisis manager. She is also a producer on the show.

“Judy has been asked to consult with those working with Angelina on divorce negotiations,” a source told People. “Judy and her firm have a long history of handling issues that have unfortunately garnered too much attention in the public eye, and she knows how to push towards resolutions that are swift and discreet.”

Smith has helped such high-profile celebs as Michael Vick, Monica Lewinsky, and Paula Deen throughout their public scandals.

Angelina is working with celeb divorce attorney Laura Wasser for her divorce from Brad Pitt.

Judy Smith, who inspired Kerry Washington‘s Olivia Pope character on Scandal, is currently working on the Sony hacking scandal!

The Smith & Company president is advising Sony Pictures chief Amy Pascal on how to deal with the crisis after the studio’s decision to pull The Interview.

Judy has been very helpful to Sony, due to her deep contacts with the government, according to TMZ.
