Andrew Rannells and Justin Bartha sport baby bumps in this new promo pic for their upcoming NBC series, The New Normal.

Synopsis: These days, families come in all forms – single dads, double moms, sperm donors, egg donors, one-night-stand donors… It’s 2012 and anything goes. Bryan (Rannells, Book of Mormon) and David (Bartha, The Hangover) are a Beverly Hills couple and they have it all. Well, almost. With successful careers and a committed and loving partnership, the one thing missing is a baby. And just when they think the stars will never align, enter Goldie (Georgia King), an extraordinary young woman with a checkered past. A Midwestern waitress and single mother looking to escape her dead-end life and small-minded grandmother (Ellen Barkin), Goldie decides to change everything and move to L.A. with her precocious 8-year-old daughter. Desperate and broke – but also fertile – Goldie quickly becomes the guys’ surrogate and quite possibly the girl of their dreams. Surrogate mother, surrogate family.

Justin Bartha and Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman discuss the issue of bullying in two new PSAs in conjunction with the documentary Bully, out March 30.

“I was bullied in high school. The bullying was so bad that I didn’t want to go back to school. What I did was tell my parents. My parents sought help from my teachers and that stopped the bullying,” the 33-year-old actor says in his video.

“Now it can be very scary to stand up to bullies,” Justin adds, “but when one person takes a stand, the odds are really good that others will too. So tell your teacher, or your coach, or your friends, or your family. It’s time to take a stand. Speak up. Stop bullying.”

Justin Bartha is set to star opposite Andrew Rannells in The New Normal, a new NBC comedy created by Glee‘s Ryan Murphy and Allison Adler.

The show is a “single-camera sitcom pilot about a blended family made up of a gay couple (Rannells and Bartha) and the surrogate helping them have a baby of their own,” TVLine reports.

Georgia King will play the couple’s surrogate, and Ellen Barkin will play her grandmother.

This isn’t Justin‘s first show with NBC – he starred in Teachers, a 2006 sitcom that was canceled after six episodes.

Here’s what the 33-year-old actor had to share with writer Yale Breslin:

On people he considers his mentors: “My father. I also like Bob Dylan. He’s brought me through some hard times. I have [seen him in concert], in New York. I got into his music early. When I was a teenager, my parents bought me Dylan tickets to a Detroit show and for some reason I said I didn’t want them. And it was because I was so obsessed with the fantasy of what Dylan represented, so I listened to his tapes instead.

On the one item he’d never throw away: “I have a golfing shirt that my late grandfather wore when he used to play. I absolutely idolized him. He gave it to me and I bring it wherever I go. I wore it on the audition for the first movie I landed.”

Scarlett Johansson goes backstage with Justin Bartha and Zach Braff at a production of All New People on Saturday (July 16) in New York City.

The 26-year-old actress checked out the off-Broadway production, which also stars Krysten Ritter.

Here’s the synopsis of the play, which Zach wrote: “It’s the dead of winter and the summer vacation getaway of Long Beach Island, New Jersey is desolate and blanketed in snow. Charlie is 35, heartbroken and just wants some time away from the rest of the world. The island ghost town seems to be the perfect escape until his solitude is interrupted by a motley parade of misfits who show up and change his plans. A hired beauty, the townie fireman, and an eccentric British real estate agent desperately trying to stay in the country suddenly find themselves tangled together in a beach house where the mood is anything but sunny.”

Kristen Bell kisses Crystal the monkey at the premiere of The Hangover Part II on Thursday (May 19) at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old actress paired her J. Mendel dress with Brian Atwood shoes and posed with one of the film’s stars, Crystal, who stole the show when she arrived in a pink dress and pearl necklace!

The “Be A Star” initiative, which stands for Show Tolerance And Respect, is an anti-bullying alliance between The Creative Coalition and WWE.

Also coming out to show their support: Justin Bartha and Modern Family‘s Ariel Winter.

The day before, Ariel, along with Alyssa Milano and Pretty Little Liars‘ Shay Mitchell hit The Creative Coalition’s Salute to Blue Star Families.
