Morgan Saylor is best known for her work on Showtime’s Homeland, but she is poised for a breakout moment with her upcoming movie White Girl.
The 21-year-old actress stars in the film based on director Elizabeth Wood‘s true story.
It’s Summer in New York City and college sophomore Leah (Saylor) falls head-over-heels for her neighborhood drug dealer (Brian Marc). After a night of partying goes wrong, Leah goes to wild extremes to get him back.
White Girl had its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this year and it will debut in New York City theaters on August 26, in Los Angeles on September 2, and nationwide on September 9. Also starring in the movie are Chris Noth, Justin Bartha, and Annabelle Dexter-Jones.
