'One Life to Live' Star Nathaniel Marston Dead at 40

Sad news – Nathaniel Marston succumbed to his injuries after a car crash left him paralyzed last month.

The 40-year-old One Life to Live star’s mother Elizabeth confirmed the news.

“Dear family and friends, it is with a heavy heart that I share this devastating news,” she wrote on Facebook. “My beloved and cherished son, Nathaniel Marston, who was putting up the good fight until last night was not able to continue due to the traumatic and devastating nature of his injuries. Nathaniel passed away peacefully as I held him in my arms.”

Nathaniel was left in critical condition and on life support after a serious car accident on Friday (October 30) in Reno, Nevada.

He was probably best known for his role as Michael McBain on the soap opera from 2004-2007.

Soap Star Nathaniel Marston Could Be Paralyzed After Car Crash

Nathaniel Marston, best known for his work on the soap opera One Life to Live, is in critical condition after being injured in a serious car accident this past weekend.

The 40-year-old actor, who played Michael McBain on the soap for six years, could be paralyzed from the neck down and he is currently on life support.

“Please pray for my son Nathaniel Marston,” the actor’s mother Elizabeth Jackson wrote on Facebook. “He was in a car accident last night and is in the intensive care on life support. Back and neck broken in several places.Other internal injuries.Please pray that he will recover and walk again.”

“Just spoke to highway patrol and tribal police. .In case rumor mill gets going. Nate was sober according to cops. Waiting to speak to Dr. Please pray that Nate does not end up a paraplegic.. neck broken and fractured in neck vertebrata 3,4,5,6, and 7. Shoulder broken along with all ribs. Collapsed lung and pnenoma. Please please pray for him,” she added in a second update.

The next day, Elizabeth wrote, “Spoke to Nate‘s Dr. In all likely hood if he lives he will be paralyzed from the neck down and will not breathe without a ventilator machine. Oh my God please give me strength.”
