Frodo and Samwise reunited at the 2024 SAG Awards on Saturday night (February 24)!
The Lord of the Rings actors Elijah Wood and Sean Astin took the stage at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles with a new quest – to present the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role.
While up there, they joked around about when they were winning awards for the movies at the SAG Awards.

The Lord of the Rings stars are reuniting!
As part of Josh Gad‘s Reunited Apart, costars Sean Astin, Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Dominic Monaghan, Billy Boyd and Sir Ian McKellen came together for a great cause while catching up.

Together, the cast happily recalled stories from the set of the film franchise, with lots of laughter and memories.
The stream was in support of No Kid Hungry.
“We all know the implications of COVID-19 are far reaching, but we may not realize how school closures and economic stressors are significantly increasing childhood hunger rates in the U.S. The problem is two-fold as new financial strains make it harder for families to provide meals for their kids and food access programs that previously provided in-school meals need to quickly shift the way they operate. To help address this crisis, we humbly ask you to support No Kid Hungry, a national campaign focused on ending childhood hunger in America,” Josh wrote.

Josh Gad made the internet so happy this week after he reunited the original cast of The Goonies for the first episode of his Reunited Apart series.
Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, Corey Feldman, Jeff Cohen, Ke Huy Quan, Martha Plimpton and Kerri Green all called into the virtual reunion where they reminisced about the movie.
Later on, Joe Pantoliano, Robert Davi, writer Chris Columbus, executive producer Steven Spielberg, director Richard Donner and even Cyndi Lauper joined the call and chatted about a the much talked about sequel to the adventure movie.
“Chris, Dick and I — and Lauren [Shuler Donner] — have had a lot of conversations about it,” Steven shared about the topic. “Every couple of years we come up with an idea but then it doesn’t hold water.”
The virtual reunions will continue on Josh‘s channel, and benefit The Center for Disaster Philanthropy, which helps some of those hit hardest by the financial impact of COVID-19.
“I’ve always dreamed of being able to bring back the casts of my favorite movies of all time. All it took was everyone being forced to not leave their homes for two months and spotty wi-fi,” Josh joked about the series.

The cute couple joined their co-stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, and Sean Astin for the panel.
“He’s great. It’s a lot of fun, we goof off a lot,” Natalia told Us Weekly about working with her boyfriend. “The whole cast does. We’re all very close so we always have a great time on and off [set]. Sometimes it’s even hard to stop laughing, stop goofing off. It’s been really lovely!”

Winona Ryder looked so chic at the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards!
The 46-year-old Stranger Things actress stepped out at the award ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 21) in Los Angeles.
She was also joined by her co-stars Cara Buono, who brought her husband Peter Thumb, Sean Astin, accompanied by his daughter Alexandra, and David Harbour who walked the carpet separably from girlfriend Alison Sudol.
During the ceremony, David is up for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series while the entire Stranger Things cast is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series and Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
