Christian Bale is accompanied by his supportive family, wife Sibi Blazic and daughter Emmeline, 10, at LAX Airport on Saturday (February 8) in Los Angeles.

The 40-year-old actor was just in Berlin for the 2014 Berlinale International Film Festival, where he attended a photo call for his film American Hustle alongside co-star Bradley Cooper and director David O. Russell.

Bradley Cooper suits up for the premiere of his film American Hustle held at the Ziegfeld Theater on Sunday (December 8) in New York City.

The 38-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-star Christian Bale, who brought along his wife Sibi Blazic.

Christian told USA Today on the red carpet that he will not be campaigning for an Oscar.

“I won’t campaign. What it’s basically saying to another actor is, ‘I like you, but I’m better,’” he said. “And I won’t ever do that.”

“So I ended up torpedoing into these scenes with Christian Bale and then that continued on for the next eight days. So I was brought back and this character became a bigger character and I got to improvise and it was just a funny, sassy character that’s different from a lot of the other characters that I’ve seen in some of Terry‘s past films,” Christian‘s Knight of Cups co-star Teresa Palmer recently shared.

FYI: Torpedo is when “a character in a cast comes and gets thrown into the scene and the other actor doesn’t know that character is going to be put in the scene.”

The day before, their co-star Christian Bale spent his day off with his wife Sibi Blazic and their daughter Emmeline as they scootered around town on their Micro Kickboard scooters.

Last month, production on the film was briefly halted when the Boston Marathon bombing occurred.

Christian is in talks to star in the Baltasar Kormakur film Everest, according to Deadline.

The film would center around the 1996 expedition to scale Mount Everest, where three different groups were hit by a monstrous storm. Eight climbers died in the disaster.
