Shane Dawson Announces He Is 'Done With' the Beauty YouTuber World Amid Drama

Shane Dawson is stepping away from the beauty scene on YouTube.

The 31-year-old vlogger, who collaborated with Jeffree Star on the popular Conspiracy Palette last year, announced in a now-deleted statement on Saturday (June 20) that he is exiting from the beauty world amid infighting and drama within the community.

“The beauty gurus who are ALWAYS involved in scandals are ALL THE F–KING SAME. They are all attention seeking game playing egocentric narcissistic vengeful two faced ticking time bombs ready to explode. And I’m OVER it,” he wrote.

Shane went into detail about drama between James Charles and Tati Westbrook as well.

“This all happened over a year ago and I’m really sick of hearing about it and having people constantly using it as a way to keep my name and other names tagged together in drama videos,” he said.

“As for my channels, I’m done with the beauty world. I love what I was able to create with Jeffree and I’m sure people are going to assume I only did it for money but that’s not true. I just am choosing to no longer be apart of that world…I don’t think it’s for me. I need to get back to why I started YouTube back in 2005 and that was to make things that bring me joy (not drama) and to make movies one day,” he wrote in the now-deleted post.

Hours later, he deleted the note and added a new message on Twitter.

“I deleted everything. I’m done. For those who wanted me to ‘address it’ I did. I’m sure u can find it reposted somewhere. But I don’t want this energy in my life or on my timeline. I’m too sensitive for this s–t and I’m done.”

He recently documented a terrifying home invasion attempt on his channel.

Tati Westbrook Wants to Put Feud with James Charles to Rest

Tati Westbrook wants to move on from her feud with James Charles.

The 37-year-old beauty vlogger took to Twitter on Sunday (May 19) to say that she and James have been in contact with each other and they are both ready to put this extremely public feud to rest.

“I have been in communication with James Charles through an intermediary for the last week, and we believe that it is in the best interest of our community, our viewers and our own mental health to put this matter to a rest,” Tati started her statement. “For that reason, I will not be making any further public comments and I hope and pray that no one else will make anymore hurtful statements on my behalf.”

Last week, Tati released a video slamming James for disrespecting their friendship and alleged inappropriate behavior.

James recently released a video responding to Tati‘s claims, providing receipts to defend himself.

“Although I do not regret raising my concerns, I completely regret the way I went about saying them, I could have and should have found a better way,” Tati continued. “Even in this moment, I still have so many things I’d like to clear up, however the continued call for ‘receipts’ is nothing more than a call for never-ending bloodshed. As such, I’m setting aside my overwhelming need to be understood and will continue my conversation with everyone in private.”

Jeffree Star Responds to James Charles' Video: 'This Has To Stop'

Jeffree Star is putting in his final word on the James Charles and Tati Westbrook feud.

The beauty mogul upload a new video and told everyone that he went to a dark place like his old self after James uploaded his latest video, but it all needs to stop. He also admitted that he regretted sending tweets regarding James.

“I don’t want to play the games anymore. I sat there yesterday, and I started to get really angry,” Jeffree said in his video. “I was going to pull voice memos, I was gonna pull old text messages from other people that don’t want to be involved. I was just getting into a place where it wasn’t healthy.”

“Thank god I’m in the head space that I am in today because I stopped those feelings. I let them all subside, and I understand that that now is not okay,” he continued. “I am not going to fuel this fire bigger so everyone can get more entertainment, because behind the scenes, this isn’t funny. This is our real lives and I inserted myself into something publicly where I shouldn’t have.”

“Today, I know what people want. They want me to sit here and degrade James. They want me to open up my phone and expose it all,” Jeffree added. “I’m done doing that, and it may be shocking… I’m willing to bite the bullet and let anyone think what they want, but today I will NOT be posting voice memos, I will NOT be posting text messages. I will not be exposing anything more. This has to stop. I’m embarrassed by my own actions.”

James Charles Responds to Tati Westbrook Video, Brings Receipts to Defend Himself

James Charles has just released his “No More Lies” video on YouTube to defend himself against all of the allegations out there in the media right now.

Among the subjects brought up by the 19-year-old social media star is his former friend Tati Westbrook‘s video about him.

Tati accused James of not being loyal to her because of a sponsored post he put up on Instagram Stories for Sugar Bear Hair, a competitor of her brand Halo.

James had said that Sugar Bear Hair saved him during an unsafe situation at Coachella and that’s why he agreed to the sponsored post. Tati felt this was untrue and called James out in her video, but now James is providing the receipts.

Tati Westbrook Returns to YouTube Amid James Charles Drama With 'Why I Did It' Video - Watch!

Tati Westbrook is back on YouTube.

The 37-year-old beauty vlogger posted a new video, called “Why I Did It,” following the video she made calling out her former friend James Charles for disrespecting their friendship and alleged inappropriate behavior, which cost the 19-year-old vlogger roughly 3 million subscribers over a few days. (Tati, on the other hand, broke the 10 million mark following the video’s release.)

“I’m not back. I needed to hop on and answer some questions and at least do that for you while I take a time out. I will not be filming for a while,” she said in the new video.

“I’ve always said I want my channel to be an escape. I still want my channel to be that, but right now, I need to take a time out and all of this has been way, way bigger than anyone could have ever imagined,” she went on to say.

“I want to share with you guys that I do really want the hate to stop. I want the picking sides and the abusive memes and the language…I really hope on both sides it can stop. That’s not why I made the video.”

YouTuber Nikita Dragun Defends James Charles Amid Tati Westbrook Drama

Nikita Dragun is getting involved in the drama between Tati Westbrook and James Charles.

Among her many complaints against her former friend, Tati alleged that James pre-planned his partnership with the hair vitamin gummy brand, a direct rival to her own supplement company, which she found disloyal on his part.

“heard a situation needed some clarification 👀 my friend was in an emergency and texted me in the moment… unfortunately since @dragunbeauty used all of our marketing budget on the fantasy, i connected him with sugar bear. nothing shady,” Nikita wrote, showing a series of texts from James allegedly asking for help at Coachella.
