Katy Perry: Russell Brand Is 'Gorgeous, Gentle & Smart'

Earlier in the week, Russell premiered his latest film, Arthur, with co-stars Jennifer Garner and Helen Mirren.

“#Arthur is out in movie theaters TODAY! Go see it & u’ll see the most gorgeous, gentle, smart, beautiful man I’ve married @rustyrockets!” Katy tweeted.

Russell was recently asked if he was hesitant about playing a drunk playboy when he himself is a recovering alcoholic.

“I did, but I fully immersed myself without any setbacks. I did it by smelling bottles of booze that I would carry around on me all day, vodka or whiskey, depending on how drunk I was meant to be in the scene,” he told the Chicago Tribune.
