Tom Hiddleston: Shakespeare Savvy!

Tom Hiddleston looks dapper at the premiere for 360 held at the Odeon Leicester Square on Wednesday (October 12) in London, England.

The 30-year-old actor was joined on the red carpet by his girlfriend Susannah Fielding.

Tom will be playing the same Shakespearean character in three separate films under two different directors! Tom is set to star as Prince Hal in two parts of Henry IV for the BBC under the direction of Richard Eyre, and play the older version of the prince, King Henry V, in the BBC film with Thea Sharrock as the director.

“I play him as Hal in the Henry IV films, when he’s a rebellious drunkard – the equivalent of a party animal today: a young man who won’t take responsibility for his actions,” Tom said of his character. “Then, in Henry V, he’s grown into the warrior king who leads his troops into battle.”

Tom is also starring in the upcoming films War Horse and The Avengers, which come out on Christmas Day and May 4, 2012, respectively.
