'Bourne Legacy' Beats 'Dark Knight Rises' at Weekend Box Office
Jeremy Renner‘s The Bourne Legacy has knocked The Dark Knight Rises out of the top slot at this weekend’s box office!
The Tony Gilroy-directed Bourne reboot won the domestic box office race with $40.3 million, according to THR.
Coming out strong in the second place slot was Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis‘ comedy The Campaign, which brought in $27.4 million.
The Dark Knight Rises came in third with $19.5 million, bringing its domestic total to $390.1 million.
Meryl Streep and Steve Carrell‘s Hope Floats came in fourth with $15.6 million, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days rounded out the top five with $8.2 million.
