Katy Perry & Russell Brand Attend Lakers Opener Separately

Katy Perry cheers on her team, the LA Lakers, as they take on the Dallas Mavericks in the season opener on Tuesday (October 30) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The 28-year-old entertainer was joined by her father Keith for the game, which went to Dallas 99-91.

Also at the game that evening was Katy‘s ex husband Russell Brand, who sat at a total different area of the arena.

At the game, Russell was spotted giving soccer star David Beckham a hug.

Meanwhile, Katy tweeted some well wished for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. “Sending east coasters light and love. Especially light!” she wrote.
