Francois Arnaud Poses for 'Interview' Magazine Feature!
Francois Arnaud is leather jacket cool in this new feature from Interview magazine’s latest issue.
Here’s what the 27-year-old The Borgias actor had to share with the mag:
On The Borgias being cancelled: “After every season you think about whether or not it might be over and whether you should say goodbye to people when you leave Hungary. [laughs] It’s a bit strange, because the ratings were”not incredible”but steady.”
On what he’d like to pursue next: “I’d love to do something contemporary and gritty and realistic”to take part in something almost improvised. The Borgias is very literary and it’s great to do that but I’d love to do something here and now and maybe. I just did another movie in Argentina”I just came back from Argentina”and it takes place in 1966 just before the coup.”
On if he feels pressure to write or direct instead of act: “No, I don’t feel the pressure. I’d love to at some point. I’m not sure I’ll find acting satisfying creatively forever. If you get the good roles, it’s great”if you have the freedom to choose your projects and not just do anything and everything. But I’d love to artistically commit to a project from beginning to end, which I think you can only do as a writer or director. There are so many things you can’t control, especially as a film or TV actor. You’re not entirely responsible for your performance.”
