Steve Grand Set to Perform at GLSEN Respect Awards 2013

Steve Grand is set to perform at the 2013 GLSEN Respect Awards on Friday, October 18!

The 23-year-old singer is an openly gay country artist and he will perform his hit single “All American Boy” at the show, being presented by The Walt Disney Company, Target, and Wells Fargo.

Kerry Washington and openly gay soccer player Robbie Rogers are the honorary co-chairs of the event, which will honor Jim Parsons and his partner Todd Spiewak with the Inspiration Award.

The mission of GLSEN (The Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network) is to ensure that every student, in every school, is valued and treated with respect, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
