Johnny Manziel Gets Picked 22nd in NFL Draft by Cleveland Browns

Johnny Manziel, the first freshman to ever win the Heisman Trophy and one of the clear favorites going into the 2014 NFL Draft, got picked 22nd during the event on Thursday (May 8) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The 21-year-old quarterback was drafted by Cleveland Browns.

The number one pick this year went to Jadevon Clowney, a defensive end who was drafted by the Houston Texans.

“This is the moment I’ve dreamed about since I was a kid… Thank you to EVERYONE who helped get me here. I’m deeply humbled. #DraftDay,” Johnny tweeted before the draft started that evening.
