Jaimie Alexander's Favorite Roles to Play: Vulnerable Characters with an Edge!

The 30-year-old Thor: The Dark World actress recently covered the May 2014 issue of Healthy Living magazine.

“I’ve always been drawn to strong but vulnerable characters with an edge,” Jaimie said of playing her character in the superhero flick. “I’d say most of my past prepared me for the characters I’ve played and will play. There’s a certain strength and durability one possesses from growing up in a household full of boys.”

“I’m not sure if I prefer those characters as much as I just prefer characters who are written well and have layers. It just so happens that villains tend to be written more multi-dimensionally,” Jaimie added about gravitating towards victims.
