Jared Leto Invests in Mobile Payment App PayRange
Jared Leto is bright as the sun while walking around town in a yellow top after having dinner at Cafe Havana on Sunday evening (August 17) in New York City.
It was announced last week that the 42-year-old entertainer is investing in the new mobile payment PayRange, which allows “cash-only vending machines to accept mobile payments through an app,” according to BizJournals.com.
“This space is still 95 percent cash-based and has yet to be solved in an elegant way,” the company’s lead investor Osama Bedier said in a statement. “I am a huge supporter of big ideas applied to hard problems, and PayRange has the most impressive solution I’ve seen to address it so far.”
