Matthew McConaughey Joins Civil War Flick 'Free State of Jones'

Matthew McConaughey makes his point while stopping by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon at Rockefeller Center on Thursday night (November 6) in New York City.

According to Deadline, the 45-year-old actor just joined the upcoming Civil War drama Free State Of Jones, which is set to be directed by Gary Ross.

Matthew will play “Newton Knight, the leader of one of the greatest rebellions in Civil War history…who defected from the Confederate Army, banded together with a group of like-minded soldiers, and set out to form their own State known as the Free State Of Jones.”
