Doritos attempts to pull our heartstrings as they reunite a French Bulldog puppy and his dad in their ad for the 2015 Super Bowl.

The chip company felt that there were a lot of commercials about dads and about puppies, but not enough about dogs who are dads of puppies — we can’t say they’re wrong.

So Doritos decided they needed to fill that gap, and while things didn’t go as they first planned, it still got pretty cute.
