Archie Panjabi's 'Good Wife' Exit: Kalinda & Alicia Say Goodbye (Video)

SPOILER ALERT! Do not continue reading if you have not watched the season finale of The Good Wife yet.

The season six finale of The Good Wife aired and featured a long awaited scene between Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) and Alicia (Julianna Margulies). It has been more than fifty episodes since the two were featured in a scene together!

This was Archie‘s final appearance on the show, and it ended with their scene. Read the dialogue below.

Kalinda: “My time with you as your friend was the best I ever had, and I’m sorry. I’m really sorry that things got messed up.”
Alicia: “I wish we had the chance to do it over again,”
Kalinda: “I have to go.”
Alicia: “I’ll never see you again?”
Kalinda: “I don’t think so.”
Alicia: “That’s too bad.”
Kalinda: “I, um [nods], goodbye.”
Alicia: “Bye.”

Fans were so curious as to why Alicia and Kalinda did not have more scenes together.

“I think that’s a question you need to ask the producers,” Archie told EW about the lack of scenes between the two characters. “What is great is that relationship between the two women is one of the best relationships on TV, in terms of it being the most honest. Hopefully, you may see something of that before I leave.”
