Iggy Azalea Shares Thoughts on Why 'Pretty Girls' Flopped
Iggy Azalea is sharing her candid thoughts on her song “Pretty Girls” with Britney Spears after a fan flat-out tweeted to her that it “flopped.”
The song peaked at number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was at number 81 this past week after a steady decline.
“even if PG flopped a little bit still getting a lot of views on YT and it’s the summer anthem of 2015, so whatever we love you,” the fan wrote with a positive spin.
Here is how Iggy responded: “its difficult to send a song up the charts without additional promo and tv performances etc. unfortunately im just featured… i would have enjoyed performing it alot, i think it got off to a powerful start. but you need content to compete in 2015.”
Britney and Iggy performed the song last month at the Billboard Music Awards in Vegas.
