Rihanna Becomes First Artist to Cross RIAA's 100 Million Song Certifications!

A congrats is in order for Rihanna!

The 27-year-old entertainer has officially surpassed more than 100 million Gold and Platinum song certifications, which makes her No. 1 on RIAA’s list of artists with the most Digital Single Awards.

This also makes her the first and only artist to surpass RIAA’s 100 million cumulative singles award threshold.

“Gold & Platinum is the industry’s premier way to celebrate achievement in the marketplace,” Cary Sherman, Chairman & CEO of RIAA, said in a statement. “We’ve given awards to artists for nearly 60 years, but it’s rare that we have the opportunity to recognize a milestone like the one Rihanna has reached.”
