Omar Sharif Dead - 'Lawrence of Arabia' Actor Dies at 83

The legendary actor Omar Sharif has sadly died at the age of 83.

The actor, best known for his work in the movies Lawrence of Arabia and Doctor Zhivago, had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease earlier this year.

“He suffered a heart attack this afternoon in a hospital in Cairo,” Omar‘s agent told BBC News to confirm the death.

Omar won Golden Globes for his work in the two previously mentioned films and he was also nominated for an Oscar back in 1963 for Lawrence of Arabia.
